Evolution Sports Performance was founded in 2008 to help individuals of all ages reach their full athletic potential and meet their fitness goals. Coaches work closely with you in a small group setting to maximize each training session. With their guidance, you can improve speed, strength with mobility, power, and agility while becoming less susceptible to injury.
Evolution aims to:
- Improve athletes’ speed, functional strength, agility, joint stabilization and energy system development
- Provide training in three specific areas of speed development – acceleration, deceleration and multi-direction
- Improve adults’ functional strength, mobility, metabolic rate, and body fat percentage in a fun and safe environment
- Enhance self-esteem by guiding each individual toward – and beyond – their specific performance goals
Each Scholarship Guarantees 2 Months of Training (up to 3x/week) in our Evolution Program.
Scholarship 1- Youth (Ages 8-11): 1 hour classes
Evolution helps young athletes and non-athletes build a strong foundation in performance fundamentals. As your child develops speed mechanics and increases agility and power, he or she can begin to see improvements in sport-specific skills – like fielding a ground ball or making a jump shot – or simply improvements in motor skills and overall fitness. Engaging and challenging, each program focuses on:
- Speed, power and agility
- Flexibility/mobility and core strength
- Regeneration and recovery
- Injury prevention
Scholarship 2- Junior Varsity (Ages 12-14): 1.5 hour classes (45 minutes speed/agility on the turf and 45 minutes strength in the weight room)
Through massive repetition, Evolution helps JV athletes integrate the fundamental movements involved in speed, agility, and explosive power. We also introduce three areas of speed development – acceleration, deceleration and multi-directional speed.
Each athlete’s force production also grows stronger through safe progression into an Olympic lifting program designed by Evolution’s USAW-certified coaches. This technique-based weight program is designed to increase performance while decreasing risk of injury.
Scholarship 3- Varsity (Ages 15-18) and Collegiate: 1.5 hour classes (45 minutes speed/agility on the turf and 45 minutes strength in the weight room)
Athletes in the Varsity program refine their speed mechanics, while adding resistance through different professional-level equipment. By teaching and reinforcing the principles of our speed program, athletes will advance faster in a safe progression. Each workout is enhanced to reflect the “game speed” conditions of the athlete’s specific sport. Athletes will work to master our three areas of speed development.
Weight training at the Varsity level is also designed for the athlete’s main sport while focusing on proper technique. Athletes will continue to develop functional strength while improving force production and correcting any muscle imbalances.
Scholarship 4- Evolution’s Elite Program is reserved for college and professional athletes and is designed to prepare them for the next level of performance. With coaches who played at the same level as the athletes we train, we understand how important summer workouts can be, so we prepare every workout to help you get to the next level.
Adult: 1 hour classes
You’ll reach your goals and have fun:
- Train using a scientific-based program developed by our coaches to improve overall fitness
- Take advantage of the latest techniques and equipment (TRX, Kettlebells, Battle Ropes, and more), keeping training fresh and exciting
- Avoid plateauing because our training plan is based on “progressive overload,” so your workouts stay challenging
- Train in a semi-private group, with your coach paying close attention to your technique
- Move freely on our indoor turf field, improving overall mobility, functional strength and metabolic rate
