DJ Henry Dream Fund Awards

DJ Henry Oliver Ames High School Coaches Award

Each year, the football coach at DJ’s Alma Mater, Oliver Ames High School selects a player that embodies DJ’s characteristics; Hard work, teamwork, and community.  The recipient receives a scholarship award and a plaque acknowledging their hard work.

Congratulations, 2022 recipient Wayne Casey!

Thank you to Coach DeWitt for choosing a deserving young man who also happens to wear DJ’s number #12!

“Wayne is a senior captain and starting Quarterback. He was our best leader this year and consistently put the team before himself. He was always more concerned with team success than he was with individual success. He is a great kid who is in the National Honor Society and works hard day to day in the classroom and on the field. Last season when he was junior he broke his neck during a game and rehabbed all off-season so that he could come back and play for us this year. We are proud of him and think he is a worthy recipient of the award.”

Congratulations, 2021 recipient Jake Grimaldi!

“Jake was the ultimate teammate for us this season. Jake is the player that we know will lead with selflessness. He was accountable in his work ethic and was always willing to do what was asked to be a great teammate. In games, Jake was the player that we asked to lead and he was always willing to do what was needed.”
