In addition to a wide range of scholarships, this summer, the DJ Dream Fund is committed to sending over 200 children to camps throughout New England, NY City and North Carolina!  “DJ had a heart for service and in this way we are carrying on his work through the live’s of each chid we serve” said Danroy Henry Sr. Co- Founder of the DJ Dream Fund.

For many children childhood memories are filled with the word “no” because they cannot afford to play or participate in sports, camps, activities or the arts.  Every child deserves to dream but for many the simple act  of saying “YES” to healthy activities is beyond their reach due to the financial pressures faced by their families.  To quote Destiny, a DJ Dream Fund scholarship recipient, when children can’t afford to participate for financial reasons “it’s not their fault”.   “Turning a season of “no” into a summer of “YES” for so many is a core part of our mission to serve in the memory of DJ” said Angella Henry Co-Founder of the DJ Dream Fund!
