Scholarship demand increases this fall!

Several scholarship recipients will be taking the field this fall saying “YES’ to participating in Brockton Youth Soccer, Weymouth Youth Soccer, Brockton Youth Football, Randolph Pop Warner, Cheerleading, Revere Karate and Hockey Camps.  Children who participate in extracurricular activities have increased self esteem, confidence and do better in school overall.  Too many children who simply want to play, are left out because the  price of admission keeps them on the side lines.  Forced to say “NO” for financial reasons, they want to play but can’t.  Fall creates  particular pressures on families already burdened by  several fees associated with returning to school.  With many sports programs now requiring additional fees to participate and after school programs operating with limited scholarship budgets, the DJ Dream Fund is stepping in to help!
